Arthur Edelstein, Ph.D. was a professor of American Literature and Writing. He taught at Stanford, Brandeis, M.I.T., Wellesley, William and Mary, and Radcliffe College. In addition to publishing two anthologies of fiction and criticism, as well as numerous short stories, critical reviews, and essays, he was East Coast Editor of PerSE: An International Quarterly. His approach to teaching writing was proven in workshops for over twenty years, with a significant number of his students going on to write and publish both short stories and novels and receive recognition for their work.
